Silk screen printing is a versatile technique that applies designs onto fabric and other materials using a mesh screen and stencil.
During production, a screen is stretched tightly over a frame, and the artwork is created as open areas in the stencil. Ink is then pushed across the screen, passing through the open sections and transferring the design onto the surface below. Known for its bold, high-saturation color and strong coverage, screen printing works especially well for multi-color graphics. It also produces long-lasting results that hold up well to repeated washing and everyday wear, making it a reliable choice for durable custom apparel.

Colors
For small quantities, it’s best to keep the design to 1–2 colors. The more colors you use, the higher the cost will be.
For example, if a T-shirt graphic includes red, yellow, and blue, it requires three separate screens—one for each color. Each additional color means extra screen setup and more alignment work during printing, so screen printing is most cost-effective when the number of colors is kept minimal.
Process
The screen printing workflow typically includes:
Design → Film Output → Screen Making → Printing → Drying/Curing
